Zarzavat by Moni Moreno Ermoza
A am a good seller, The fruit seller, I go around with passion, The streets and the alleys
Chorus:The eggplant, I have a good one, I sell onions and potatoes, The low ones and the high ones, I know how to sell them
I have good vegetables, The best of the boutiques, All day I go around, Speaking with girls
Everyone wants to buy from me, Because I sell cheap,Ah, but I know how to fight, With them when I try
Adio Kerida, Ladino Folk Song
When your mother gave you, and brought you to the world, she did not give you a heart, to love with
Chorus: Goodbye, goodbye beloved, I don't want life, You made it bitter for me.
Go look for another love, bang on other doors, wait for another passion, becuase for me you are dead.
Melech Al Kol Ha’aretz
With the High Holidays on Zoom for a second year in a row in 5782, Cantor Kheel wanted to teach the congregations to sing along from home. Here, she teaches a congregational refrain from the Rosh Hashanah kiddush. Cantor Kheel posted this and other videos on her congregation’s Facebook page during the Jewish month of Elul in order to familiarize the community with some of what they might hear during the High Holidays.
Bishivah Shel Malah
